Rental Information

The State Historic Deer Harbor Community Club (DHCC) building is available for rental under the rules we follow as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Rental fees are used to pay DHCC operating and maintenance expenses..

Rental fees include use of the meeting room, propane heater, chairs, tables, restroom, water, lights, parking lot, and minimal use of the kitchen.

  • Rental and deposit fees must be paid prior to obtaining access for set-up.

  • ALL trash must be removed from the building when the event is over.
  • A lower rate will be considered for events that are recurring. An example would be someone teaching a weekly dance class.
  • If you would like cleaning service for your event, you must notify us ahead of time so arrangements can be made.

USE RESTRICTIONS

  • Maximum capacity is 85 people.
  • If liquor is to be served, renter must obtain a Host Liquor Liability insurance policy. RESOURCE: San Juan Insurance Center, 360-376-2141.
  • No candles or devices with open flames may be used due to fire hazard.
  • Do not leave any left-over food from event.
  • Remove all trash the same day as the event.
  • If you are cleaning after the event, you must put all the tables and chairs away, sweep the floor, clean all surfaces, and in general leave the building as you found it.
  • The DHCC Board of Directors reserves the right to deny use of DHCC to any individual or organization.
  • The DHCC is a NON-SMOKING facility.
