On Wednesday, April 10, Suzanne Olson, Communications Specialist of OPALCO, will present an overview of the BroadBand Initiative to the Deer Harbor Plan Review Committee.
The community is welcome to attend to hear Suzanne’s presentation, followed by time for questions from the audience.
The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. at the DHCC. Ms. Olson is first on the Agenda.

And as an extra special treat, we’ll have lovely note cards for sale for holiday gift giving. You’ll want some for yourself, too! The image on the card is the amazing quilt that Sheila Gaquin sewed of the Deer Harbor Community Club in winter. It’s an award winning quilt called “Deep in December”.

You better watch out, you better not cry, because Santa Claus is coming to Deer Harbor Marina by boat at 9:45am, Saturday, December 8th!
Children and parents can watch with anticipation on the dock of the Deer Harbor Marina as he arrives with a big bag of toys. We will then walk or drive to the Deer Harbor Community Club to receive a toy and enjoy some hot chocolate and cookies.
This event is sponsored by the Women’s Auxiliary of Deer Harbor. Donations are accepted to cover the cost of the toys.
This special holiday event continues until noon.

Take Me Out To The Ballgame!
Friday night potluck at the Deer Harbor Community Club • September 14 at 6:30 p.m.
Since it is the time when baseball is winding down, football will be starting, along with hockey, followed by basketball (doesn’t soccer run year round???), we are doing a theme of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” – and hope to have people show up in an array of clothing to support their favorite team, no matter what it is! Peanuts and cracker jacks will abound! See you Friday night for a rousing cheer!
